ZEEK is an alternative indie singer-songwriter, musician, painter, author, editor, philosopher, lyricist, actor, and entertainer. Zeek is a multi-instrumental studio recording artist who writes, records and produces music and CDs.
Zeek is also an author and is now busy writing a children's novel.
Originating from Dundee, Scotland, Zeek is the pseudonym of lyricist S. A. Smith.
In the late 1970s, he was the singer and frontman of the comedy/punk band Snap-On Brothers and in the 1980s, half of the duo The Infamous Zeek & Giz. He has also sung with Dutch metal bands Ebo and Fill Bloom. But he is best known for his musical project ZEEKtheFREAK
Zeek has a zany Tabloid, The Fools Funnybone, which appears every moon eclipse. The humour in FF is not to everyone's liking; it is more for people with an alternative sense of humour.
He is an author. He is working on a new novel to follow up his debut novel, Who Stole a Cigarette from Nigel, which was written in 1980.
Zeek is also an actor, appearing in the Dutch hit film.'Huisvrouwen bestaan niet 2' as an extra.
He has his own record company, Happy Psycho Records, which he releases his music through. The company was created out of the ashes of the old Infamous Idiotic Label.
His production companies, Zeek Productions and Dodgy Bastards Promotions represent his work and that of others.
Zeek is also a philosopher, and this can be heard in his lyrics. He also likes to dabble in photography.

THE FOOLS FUNNYBONE 4
Finally work has started on the 4th edition of the Fools Funnybone. This will however not be available until sometime 2025
It is hoped to be funniest version to date, with the usual humour.

D.I.D. NEW ZtheF ALBUM
D.I.D. will be the name of the new ZEEKtheFREAK album. This will be a concept album and the music will be more dark than previous albums.
